Tolcarne Landslide and Rope Access Inspections

Slope Stability Southwest were asked to assess a recent landslide event that had occured in the sea cliffs to the rear of Tolcarne Beach in August 2025. Tim from Slope Stability Southwest was able to undertake initial stability assessments followed up by a comprehensive slope face stability assessment carried out by rope access.  Having identified the slope face above the collapse to be in need of stabilisation works, Slope Stability Southwest have prepared a detailed design specification for the stabilisation worksto ensure the long term safety and security of the slope face.

Thanks to Vector Rope Access Ltd for preparing the rope access inspection which was undertaken underthe supervision of an IRATA Level III Certified operative.
